Eight wonder


The tour includes a route of about 415 Km (258 miles) with an altitude difference in the descent of 43 Km (27 miles), that will be achieved in seven days, plus one dedicated to the arrival and acclimatization and one conclusive of departure for a total of eight nights and nine days. The overnights stay will be everyday in a different village, in the best hotels or mountains huts on the truck, where you can relax after a hard day of skiing and enjoy the best traditional cuisine, with the best wines. The entire tour will be on skis, with exception of four short transfers that will be carried out with public and/or private transfer. The luggage will be transferred daily, from hotel to hotel, by our staff.


Due to the particular path length and difficulty of some slopes, we recommend a good athletic training and a good level of skiing.

Weather is very unstable on the mountains, therefore a beautiful sunny March day may quickly turn into a cold snow storm. To prevent unwanted surprises that could ruin your holiday, we suggest to carry adequate clothing, such as a multi-layer clothing that makes possible to wear off or on your clothing optimizing your body temperature.

If possible, use zipper clothing, wear long-sleeves t-shirts under fleece or wool sweater. If you are very sensitive to the cold we suggest to carry always into your rucksack a scarf, a cap, under-gloves and earmuffs.

Don’t forget the suntan barrier cream, minimum protection grade 20, cocoa-butter lip stick, sun glasses or a skiing mask.

In the matter of luggage we kindly request you to choose soft suitcases, possibly trolley type which can be easily manipulated and will be of help to our staff moving them daily and when loading and unloading them from the cable-cars and ski lifts.

Day 1

Arrive on your own or with a transfer available (on request) from the airport of Venice, hotel accommodation, trip briefing, equipment check, pick up your week Dolomite Skipass. The rest of your time will be dedicated to the relax and shopping in the atmosphere that only Cortina D’Ampezzo ,with its exclusive shops and workshops, is able to offer you.

Day 2

The first day is dedicated to the discover of the wonderful tracks and mountains of Cortina D’Ampezzo, the pearl of the Dolomites that hosted the 1956 Winter Olympics Games and every year hosts the Women’s World Cup races. In the afternoon, we will stay in one of the most beautiful and panoramic hotel of the Dolomites, where we will stop for the night but not before tasting the typical dishes prepared by one of the most famous top chef all over the world.

Day 3

In the morning, we will leave for the Queen of the Dolomites: the Marmolada with its 3342 meters is the highest peak in the ski area that we will reach after having crossed part of the Alta Badia and Arabba. We will cross tens kilometers of unspoiled nature and breathtaking landscapes, with a succession of walls cliffs and gentle slopes.

Day 4

It’s the time to go up to the peak 3342 mt of Marmolada and from the top down to the valley along the legendary track “Bellunese” that with its 12 km results to be one of the longest downhill of the Dolomites. Then, we will continue to Val di Fassa along Arabba and up to Passo Pordoi riding for some kilometers along the famous Sellaronda (ski ring around the group sella long about 40 Km).

Day 5

Today we will go on along Val di Fassa, up to Passo Sella and then we will ride in the beautiful Val Gardena along the famous Sasslong, home of one of the most challenging races of the World Cup Men, until you get to the Alpe di Siusi, the biggest plateau in Europe.

Day 6

Today the destination is the Val Badia, we will arrive in the afternoon after having crossed the Val Gardena, going up to the Passo Gardena and travelling along a piece of the famous Sellaronda up to Corvara; from here up to the plateau of Alta Badia to reach the Villa getting down along another classic slope of the Ski World Cup: the Gran Risa.

Day 7

It’s the day dedicated to another beautiful ski area of the Dolomiti Superski: Plan de Corones with its 2275 meter peak, offers a fine view of the entire scenery of the Dolomites. We will ride tens kilometers along the wonderful slopes, from the top down to the valley.

Day 8

Even today, we will have a nice skiing day that we will spend in Val Pusteria: left the hotel we will go up to the peak of Plan the Corones and from here we will run downhill to 1316 mt up to the station Perca where the new Ski Pustertal Express is waiting for us to arrive to Versciaco, at the border with Austria, where we will essay the slopes of the ski area of Sesto-Moso, ski area with the black track steeper in Italy, the Holzriese. And last but not least, we have thought that it is right to conclude in beauty: we will stay in a wonderful hotel with an amazing view on the biggest natural sundial in the world with the peaks Nove, Dieci, Undici e Una.

Day 9

It’s the day to say goodbye, after breakfast a shuttle (on request), will take you to your destination (Venice airport).
